APCADA is a real-time system developed for estimating the actual sky
cloud cover with surface measurements of longwave downward radiation,
temperature and relative humidity every 10 minutes 24 hours a day.
Note: Thin high clouds (cirrus
clouds) cannot be detected by APCADA. Thus, only total cloud amount
without cirrus clouds (called partial cloud amount) is estimated by
APCADA.
