Oct. 2018. In connection with our Chinese space project, JTSIM-DARA, a 4-day seminar entitled “Space-Based Solar Radiometry” was held in Switzerland from 30 October to 2 November 2018. This was initiated and organized by the PMOD/WRC. Together with the Chinese JTSIM-DARA project partners, we visited various Swiss space institutions.
The programme included introductory and project presentations at: The Swiss Space Center (EPFL – Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, Lausanne), ISSI (International Space Science Institute, Bern), University of Bern (Bern) and PMOD/WRC (Davos). Current space activities as well as possible cooperation and interests in relation to future projects were discussed.
