21 June 2019. A delegation from the Chinese Embassy in Bern, the CIOMP Institute (Changchun, China), and the CMA (Chinese Meteorological Administration) visited PMOD/WRC for the handover ceremony (Acceptance Review) of the JTSIM-DARA radiometer.
JTSIM-DARA will shortly be integrated into the chinese FY-3E weather satellite, and made ready for launch in 2020. Its purpose is to measure the Total Solar Irradiance alongside a SIAR radiometer designed by CIOMP.
